Quiet, Please! is 60 minutes of pure indulgence – excellent live music, vibrant visuals and the ultimate dance experience. Quiet, Please! combines energetic and entertaining dance choreographed by Nina Rajarani with exceptional live music composed and led by Y Yadavan. The work weaves a romantic love triangle set in India around the hurly burly of the manic London business world that is driven by aggression and competition.
Weaving two choreographies into one, the performance starts off with a projection of a beautiful but lonely female living in India in a colourful mansion. In true cinematic style she is nurturing a lamp symbolising her undying hope that her childhood sweetheart, now in London, will return to her soon. Meanwhile on stage, an energised display (QUICK!) of 4 male Bharatanatyam London businessmen unravels.
Her childhood sweetheart returns to India only to find that things are not as he dreamt them to be. A love triangle evolves…
